ERP Business Consultant

Guide Odoo projects from the first workshop to long after the go-live, as the fixed point of contact for your customers and the bridge to our developers.

Abstractive is looking for an experienced ERP business consultant who guides projects from introduction to go-live. You work as a functional Odoo expert and are the fixed point of contact for your customers and the bridge to our developers. You start on real projects right away.

In workshops and conversations on the shop floor, you map the customer's processes, tools and pain points. For each process you give honest advice: standard, configuration or custom development.

You are

  • An experienced ERP consultant, preferably with Odoo knowledge
  • A clear communicator, towards customers and towards colleagues
  • Analytical: you break a process down until you really understand it
  • Organized: you keep an eye on scope, budget and schedule
  • Eager to learn: you like to keep learning in an environment that changes fast

Abstractive is a full-service Odoo partner with an office in Affligem. We take SMEs from fragmented tools and double entry to one Odoo platform where sales, logistics, finance and manufacturing come together.

As an Official Odoo Silver Partner, we guide our customers from introduction to long after the go-live. All analysis, configuration and custom development is done by our own team from Belgium: no freelancers, no offshoring, no subcontracting.

We build as much as possible in standard Odoo and deliberately keep everything upgradable. We only build software once we understand how a company works, and that understanding is exactly your job.

What do we expect from you?

  • You listen first: in conversations and workshops you map the customer's needs and look for the best setup of their Odoo environment.
  • You give demos tailored to the customer: their flow, no standard script.
  • You investigate integrations with the customer's existing software packages and portals.
  • You translate the analysis into clear assignments for our developers, who build the custom development.
  • You keep an eye on the agreed budgets and deadlines, and report it in time when something threatens to overrun.
  • You test the result thoroughly. You deliver solutions, not just tasks: you carry final responsibility for what goes to the customer.
  • You help the end users get started when they adopt their new environment.


Your profile

  • Preferably you hold a higher education degree (business studies, applied economics, business engineering, ICT, ...) or equivalent through experience.
  • You think analytically and work in a structured way. You know where the priorities lie.
  • You understand what really moves a customer forward, and you dare to say: you do not need that custom development.
  • You communicate easily, with customers as well as with developers.
  • Proven experience as an ERP consultant is required, preferably with Odoo.
  • You have a good understanding of business processes in a wide range of industries.
  • Languages: Dutch and English.
