What moves with you

You do not have to re-enter anything. What is in your current package is in Odoo after the transfer.

  • Your chart of accounts, your customers and your vendors.
  • All fiscal years: vendor bills and customer invoices, bank statements and miscellaneous journal entries.
  • The open items of customers and vendors, matched to their payments.
  • Your fixed assets with the depreciation up to the day of the switch.
  • The documents behind your entries. The PDF of an invoice stays attached to that invoice.
  • Your VAT returns. We check that the returns in Odoo match what you filed.

How it works

You send us a copy of your company file. Your current accounting simply keeps running in the meantime, because we do not touch your live environment.

We transfer your accounting to a test environment and compare the figures there with your balance sheet and your filed VAT returns. Every difference must be explained before we continue. Your accountant gets access to that test environment and approves the figures.

Then we do the same transfer to your real Odoo environment. From the agreed date, you post your entries in Odoo. Your history is already there.

What it costs

A fixed price per company file, which we confirm in advance, regardless of the number of fiscal years or entries. Included: the transfer to the test environment, the check of the figures and the final transfer to your Odoo environment.

Not included: your Odoo licenses and the setup of other Odoo apps. If you have several companies, each company file counts separately.

Why bring your history along

Legally, an export of your old accounting is enough. In practice, you want to look up in Odoo what a customer paid three years ago, or which invoice belongs to a depreciation. With your history in Odoo, you no longer have to search in two systems.

No. We work on a copy of your company file. You simply keep posting entries until the agreed switch date. Whatever you post after the copy, we include in the final transfer.

We compare the balance sheet, the open items and the VAT returns in Odoo with those of your old software. Your accountant gets access to the test environment and approves the figures before we go to production.

That depends on the size of your company file. After we receive the copy, we give you a date for the test environment and a proposal for the switch date.
