Your bills of materials are stored centrally in Odoo, variants included. Change a component and every new manufacturing order immediately calculates with the right version. No more Excel tabs, no outdated printouts on the shop floor.
Every work center knows the next step
Odoo splits a manufacturing order into work orders per work center. The operator sees the next task on a tablet, with instructions attached. You follow progress live from your desk.
Plan on capacity, not on hope
The production schedule shows what runs when on which work center. If an order runs late, you immediately see the impact on the rest of the week. That way you promise delivery dates you actually meet.
Your cost price comes from actual consumption
Odoo records per order which components and how much labor time actually go into it. So you know the real cost price of every product, not an estimate from years ago. You see which products deliver margin and which do not.

It can be, and then we say so. For a small workshop with simple products, a light setup is often enough: bills of materials and manufacturing orders, without work centers or detailed planning. If you work with variants, multiple work centers or subcontracting, the full module really pays off. In an introductory call you get an honest answer to that.
Yes. The shop floor works with a tablet or a screen per work center. Operators see their next work order, tick off steps and report their consumption. It does not need to be more than that. Training is a standard part of our project: live sessions, instruction videos and cheatsheets in your own language. You can read how such a project works at our approach.
No. Your cost price is only as good as the recording on the shop floor. Odoo calculates with what is actually reported: consumed components and hours worked. That is why we deliberately start simple, with recording that is feasible for your team. We refine only once the basics are in place.
